Session description: Understanding Web 2.0 And Its Impact On Technical Communication—The Semantic Web is coming. And, it’s bringing with it major changes to the way we create, manage, deliver, consume, and share technical information. In this session we’ll examine how Web 2.0 tools and technologies are changing the technical communication landscape. Discover how Web 2.0 methods make it possible for us to deliver “content as a service” and to empower our customers to slice and dice technical content in useful and exciting new ways.

Session description: Workplace 2.0 - Making Cross-Functional Collaboration Happen—A frank and challenging look at collaboration today - or what everyone assumes it is - and an exploration with participants of new and unusual ways to truly collaborate with one another, with colleagues outside of the TechComm or Marketing departments, with engineers and product managers. We’ll be looking at communication styles, powers of persuasion vs. of coercion, the limits of a competitive environment, the disadvantages of the cubicle, and the art of defining team success vs. individual success.

Hope to see you there. Please RSVP to .
